Another great weekend for the team at the 3rd round of Goldstar Series in Hawkes Bay in the weekend.
Riley Jack had a consistent top 3 day with pace to match the leaders taking away two 2nds, two 3rds, and a 4th.
Looks like the new MS3 Crusier chassis worked well for you Riley this year, securing 3rd in the series championship.
Riley has really found some comfort and confidence in the last couple of months and thats just what he needed.
John Wallace had one of those "could have" days, Hawkes Bay has always been his nemesis track. John had the pace all weekend to win the meeting, just not the luck. He managed to pull a comfortable win out in one of the heat races but unfortunately this was the best part of his weekend. This affected Johns overall result for the championship where he was leap frogged in points finishing 1st equal but to loose on countback on series results. (Intrepid still takes the most race wins for series in Rotax Senior).
Bradon Parsons had his second meeting in the Intrepid chassis and he is starting to find some comfort with the kart, finishing second for the meeting and securing the championship with one heat win, three 2nds and a 5th. Bradon's only going to get better with time in the Intrepid chassis.
Quin Clark racing open in DD2 came home 1st DD2 kart for the weekend. This was Quin's second full meeting in the DD2 and he has found comfort with the kart straight away! Quin didnt participate in all 3 rounds with the DD2 kart so unfortunately did not finish anywhere in the series.
Clint Beaumont in his KZ2 kart showed he is starting to find some pace similar to the top boys in the country for his first year in KZ2. Unfortunately for Clint he had one of those days where not everything went his way either. With a tangle in a heat race put him to rear of the field, Clint managed to put one 2nd, two 4ths and a 5th in his results for the weekend. Hard luck mate!

Wellington Round 2 GoldStar Series seen Intrepid NZ impress in all 3 classes they entered!
John Wallace taking away a dominant win with 3 heat wins and a 2nd to start the final off Pole and drive to a 3.5sec win.
Riley Jack showed he was there or there abouts taking heat 1 win and showing he was quick enough to win the day setting 3 fastest times of the day. Riley finished a very happy 2nd overall.
Quin Clark showed steady pace in the open class taking two 2nds and two 3rds and a 4th to take 3rd overall in open class with a DD2 kart. Pretty Impressive against the big Horsepower Karts!!!
